First of all, they are speaking in metaphor, pesher, and allegory. There are two trees, the Tree of Life and The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The first tree is a diagram based upon the Flower of Life design and teaches the platonic solids, geometry, mathematics, morality, and more. The second tree is not a tree as in something that lives, instead it is like what we call a "family tree" a diagram, an outline, a chart. When you chart out all the Good and all the Evil you end up with a tree and we call that tree in modern times... HISTORY! The "fruit" of History is... TRUTH! For No One Really Dies... from eating truth. F.N.O.R.D. The serpent in Hebrew is rendered as "Nahash." That word, Nahash, has three meanings, the most important of which is "he who is the keeper of the sacred and hidden wisdom." This is a person, usually in a secret society, who is illuminated and has attained all the secrets of the mystery schools. So Adam and Eve approach this teacher and he laughs when they say they cannot eat that "fruit." He knows that the Anunnaki/Elohim/Archons want mankind stupid, ignorant, and kept at a SLAVE LEVEL of knowledge so they can be controlled. So Nahash teaches "Adam" and "Eve" and they do not die, despite the lies of the Elohim. And they knew the naked truth, that they had been slaves.
