Gnosticism & gnostics, witches and witchcraft

One of my pet peeves is the sort of self-inflated way that people who are into Wicca call it “The Craft,” as though Wicca represents some sort of ancient art that mankind has recognized as the one and only “craft” for thousands of years… it’s not that different from Christians who call refer to their own branch of authoritarian monotheism as “The Gospel” and anyway, its pure horseshit.
What about voodoo, or santeria, or brujeria, or vama marga? Do forms of indigenous sorcery and shamanism which actually are hundreds (if not thousands) of years old also qualify as “witchcraft,” or is the word itself now the exclusive monopoly of middle-class, North American whites?
On a related note, “Gospel” simply means “good news” and there are plenty of those - from the Gospel of Mary to the Secret Gospel of John, and all just as valid as the gospel of Mark.
So why should one of these - or any one collection of these - be granted the unique status of a “The”?
“There are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.” [John 21:25]
“Bible” just means “book” - but you would never know it from the way mind-controlled muppets publicly carry on about “The Bible” (or even “The Good Book.”)
Hell I have thousands of books on every conceivable topic in my study at home but I sure don’t refer to any of them as “The Book” - because nobody would have any idea which fucking book I was talking about!
IMHO, the real craft, the real “good news” is not something you can find in any book, “Bible” or otherwise.
The real craft, the real good news, is carried by spirits who reveal it in dreams, visions, flights of imagination, inspiration and dancing. It is something that is almost pre-linguistic - trance states and laughing jags and and talking to god while you make sweet love with your honey, whoever that (or they) might be.
I’m fucking sick of “The.” The world has had 5000 years of “The ” and it’s only getting worse.
I hereby resolve:
no God but gods
no Spirit but spirits
no Bible but bibles
no Good News but good news
and finally, no Craft but crafts!!!
