Gnostic Voudon

June 20, 2005 | Share/Save

Has anyone out there ever read this book (”The Gnostic Voudon Workbook”) by Michael Bertiaux? Used paperback copies go for about $300 and the hardback is $600… plus it doesn’t really have anything to do with gnosticism or voudon… but so many people swear by it that I must admit I really am curious.

It might just be one of those books that has acquired a cachet or glamour simply because it’s so difficult to get… but I’d appreciate a report if anyone cares to make one.

There’s an oft-mentioned connection between dreams and books this reminds me of… a book is a dream, a dream is book, sometimes I have dreams where I am reading amazing books with illustrated diagrams which show the secret construction of the universe and the meaning of life - but of course, these fade as I awaken.

This website itself is the product of feverish dreams which entered my life like a hurricane and turned everything upside down for 3 years… I still don’t know what it all means but fortunately I remember ALL of teh details anyway so someday I will probably go through and write an essay about each illustration and explain what they meant at the time, what they mean now, what they were referencing, etc.

It’s weird to look back and think about how many things i used to be afraid to say because I thought I would sound crazy… I kind of don’t care anymore though.

Voodootroniks, Choronzon Club and Hatian Ordo Templi Orientalis…
Michael Bertiaux was my first “Master” when I was a “probationer” within an “Occult Lodge.” I corresponded by snailmail with Bertiaux for over 3 years, in tandum with The Voudon Gnostic Workbook (complete with missing drawings & illustrations) plus ‘grade papers’ or lessons sent specifically to me as my ‘homework’.
There’s quite a lot of extremely disturbing (to some) and very weird, “blacker than black” magickal praxis one must learn and memorize. The VGN is part and parcel of an extremely powerful, effective, eclectic and demanding Teaching that I received through waht amounts to a lengthy and expensive correspondence course in Dark Antinomonian Magick synthesized within the parameters of the fierce Pethro Nanchon of Loa, that mixed with European ceremonial magick and apects of Martinism, Masonry, and Crowley, etc…
To sum it up: It’s Hatian Binzango Voudon as taught from an authentic “Wandering Bishop”, ordained Episcopalian minister and Initiate of dark Voudon who is deep into Homosexual Sex Magick of a radically debased nature, a practicing “Bocor” or Haitian black magician of considerable knowledge and power, and a perverse, radically inflated ego(maniac). Hey, why not check it out? Or Not.
